Thankgiving is nearing. What are you dear readers thankful for? I am thankful for the wonderful world of writers. Without them, I don't know how I would live. It is the only way for me to escape my drab life. For me to sink into my version of happiness. Not that giddy-jumpy-giggly happy that most people get. But a calm, mature, if I do say so myself, which I just did, type of happiness.
Writers are the Gods of my world. I know they are only human, but they are doing the most for the world in my eyes. They are spreading their wonderful ideas and feeding the poor young, and not so young, wonderful tales with great deeds, not so great deeds, and lessons.
Thank you all you wonderful authors!!

Have You Heard of NANOWRIMO...
Everyone knows that reading is my life, but I love writing too. That is why I am 100% all for this NANOWRIMO thing I found. It stands for NAtional NOvel WRIting MOnth. Actually for INterNAtional WRiting MOnth. But INNANOWRIMO "doesn't roll off the tongue as easily", so they kept it at NANOWRIMO.
It starts on November 1. Garth Nix and Neil Gaiman are going to be supporting the writers participating. That to me is exciting since they are brilliant writers themselves. All of you already knew that though.
Currently reading 'Extras' and urging you to "Join! Join!",

A few bookish things...
I've finally gotten up a post. It's hard to tear myself away from books at times. Especially when they are my one true love. My only love really. Some of my favourite authors are Betsy James, Lloyd Alexander, Gail Giles, Scott Westerfeld. . .but that's just to name a few. The list could go on and on, but I doubt anyone would read it.
My type of books are pretty wide ranged also. That means, unlike the other two, I don't particularly have anything against the Clique books. I personally do not like chick books as much as other genres, and would prefer to read something else, but I must admit, I have read one Clique book. "But why?!" you ask. Boredom and the fact that it was there. I didn't despise the book itself, just the plot, the theme, the lesson, since there was none that I could comprehend, and the characters. The stupidity of the characters was hilarious though. One point for that. But honestly, I'm not going to go into too much depth considering the fact that this is not really a review.
So, at that, I shall leave you wanting to read more. Toturing you with the need to feast your eyes upon another wonderous post of Twyla's, but. . .
'Til that day arrives,
